Leeds United are currently in 15th place in the Championship table.

Iain Dowie has told Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday, which was broadcasted on November 14th, that Steve Evans needs to put a structure in place at Leeds United.

Dowie has been very impressed by the quality of the Whites’ squad, but he feels that the team need guidance.

“The one thing I must say about Leeds, is that there’s some great players there,” he said. “You think about [Charlie] Taylor, you think about [Lewis] Cook, you think about [Alex] Mowatt and you think about [Sam] Byram.

“You’ve also got [Mirco] Antenucci and [Chris] Wood. Steve just needs to put a structure around it. Leeds will score goals.”

Evans has made a good start to life as Leeds manager, and he has been able to guide them up the Championship standings since taking over last month.

The Yorkshire club have lost just one of the first five matches Evans has taken charge of, and they are starting to click into gear.

Leeds had struggled for victories under Uwe Rosler early on the season, but they have now recorded back-to-back wins, after being Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.

Evans has deployed a 4-4-2 formation at Leeds since taking charge, and it seems to have got the best out of his players.

Leeds will now be aiming to make it three triumphs in a row, with their next match coming against Rotherham United at the weekend.
