Efe Ambrose did not select a Celtic player as the best he's ever played with.
Ambrose played with former Arsenal striker Kanu for Nigeria, and he was very impressed by the striker’s talents.
“I was fortunate enough to play with Kanu and he was probably the best player I ever played alongside,” the defender said.
Kanu represented the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Ajax during his playing days, and he is widely recognised as one of the finest African players of all time.
The front-man was sensationally talented, and he was famed for his touch and creativity, as well as his physical power.
Kanu started his career for Nigerian side Iwuanyanwu Nationale, before moving to Ajax after his talents were spotted.
He then went on to score 25 times in 54 matches for the Dutch club, before Inter noticed his class and took him to the San Siro.
It was at Arsenal where he most impressed though – and he spent five years with Arsene Wenger’s side, playing a part in their Invincibles team.
Ambrose, meanwhile, played for Kaduna United and Ashdod before moving to Celtic in 2012, where he has been ever since.
