Report: Bournemouth reignite move for Jonathan De Guzman after deadline day collapse

The former Swansea City midfielder looks set to be on his way to Dean Court.

It is being reported in Italy that AFC Bournemouth will be getting their hands on Jonathan De Guzman after all.

Tutto Mercato Web is reporting that the Napoli midfielder is all set to leave Italy and return to England - where he had previously thrived at Swansea City.

The report claims that the two sides already have an agreement in place as the one they made in the summer is yet to expire.

In the summer Sky Sports reported De Guzman was all set to have a medical at Dean Court on Transfer Deadline day.

However the player decided to give it another crack in Naples and the season long loan deal, worth around £720,000, was cancelled.

De Guzman has not played a single game for the Italian side this season and is now said to be desperate for regular first-team football.

His arrival would certainly be welcomed by Bournemouth.

The Cherries are struggling in the Premier League especially after losing three key players to injury early on in the season.
