The Aston Villa defender has taken to social media.
Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has taken to Twitter with a defiant message after being ruled out for the season with injury.
Amavi was one of Villa's most impressive performers so far this term, with the reward duly given to him for that form by Tim Sherwood being the drop...
Naturally, Sherwood was sacked soon after but the 21-year-old has now been ruled out for the season with injury.
It's undoubtedly a cruel blow for Aston Villa but Amavi has taken to Twitter with a message of defiance, also thanking fans for their support.
Villa have plenty to fear when it comes to cover for Amavi.
Remi Garde's side don't necessarily possess anyone with the same energy levels as the 21-year-old and an option may be to recall Aly Cissokho from his loan spell at Porto.
Aston Villa will travel to Everton for their first Premier League game after the international break and supporters will no doubt be gutted to know they won't be seeing Amavi in action for the rest of the campaign.
Hopefully his defiance will result in a strong comeback next term.
