Twitter reacts to Ben Davies performance against Arjen Robben

Arjen Robben playing for Netherlands

The Tottenham Hotspur defender was torn apart by the Bayern Munich winger.

A depleted Wales team, who were missing absent star players Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey through injury, took on the Netherlands last night in an international friendly.

They put in an excellent performance against Holland but still came up short against a side who shockingly did not qualify for the European Championships in France next summer.

Goals from Joe Ledley and Emyr Huws had twice leveled things for Wales but it was Arjen Robben that took the game by the scruff of the neck for Holland.

The Bayern Munich winger scored Holland's second goal and the winner in the game but one man did not come off in a good light for the second goal. That man was Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies.

Playing in a back three he allowed Robben the chance to cut in from the right, on to his favoured left foot , and strike the ball into the back of the net.

Davies' inability to stop the Bayern man doing what is his known as his main form of attack did not go down well with fans on Twitter.
