The Ecuadorian winger was part of a winning side against Uruguay, while the Icelander scored in defeat to Poland.
A number of Swansea City players were embroiled in entertaining clashes while on international duty, with Jefferson Montero and Gylfi Sigurdsson both featuring for their countries over the last 48 hours.
The victory follows on from wins over Argentina and Bolivia, with Montero’s side now top of the ten-team South American qualifying pool.
Montero played 90 minutes but was replaced in the dying moments, and can be seen celebrating above.
Sigurdsson meanwhile netted his 13th goal for Iceland last night, scoring in his nation’s 4-2 defeat at the hands of Poland.
It took the Swansea man only four minutes to open the scoring in the game, converting a penalty with aplomb to give his side the lead.
However, the hosts struck back and ended up winning the encounter, with hotshot Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski netting twice in the Poles’ triumph.
Sigurdsson played the full 90 minutes in the clash and could well feature again for Iceland as they take on Slovakia on Tuesday night.
