Ross Lyon on when he found out about Rangers matchday squad presence

Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Championship with a 4-0 victory over Alloa Athletic last weekend.

Rangers youngster Ross Lyon has explained on the club’s official website how he felt being part of the first-team squad last weekend.

The young midfielder was an unused substitute for the Scottish Championship game against Alloa Athletic at Ibrox in Glasgow.

Lyon has also revealed when he found out that he was going to be part of the Rangers’ matchday squad.

Rangers returned to winning ways in the Scottish Championship last weekend. Mark Warburton’s side registered a comfortable 4-0 victory over Alloa at home.

Martin Waghorn (two), James Tavernier and Nicky Clark were on target for the Gers. Rangers are five points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment.

The Glasgow giants have picked up 36 points from 13 matches, five more than second-place Hibernian.

The Gers will take on Livingston away from home in the Scottish Championship after the two-week international break.
