16-year-old Kemp agreed a long-term contract with West Ham, and he has told the official club website which West Ham player he really enjoys to watch.

The youngster said: “As an attack-minded player I really like watching Lanzini, I think he’s an excellent player. I like to take people on and dribble. I like to link up and I just enjoy making people happy when they’re watching me.”

Kemp agreed a long-term contract with the Hammers, following his release from London rivals Chelsea earlier this season, and he arrives at an already exciting West Ham academy.

Reece Oxford, Josh Cullen and Martin Samuelsen have already made their debuts for the first-team this season, and Kemp will be hoping to follow some of his new academy teammates into playing for Slaven Bilic’s team.

The club have a keen focus on youth, and Kemp arrives with a strong reputation in youth football. He is just 16-years-old, and is known as a left-sided winger, although he can also fill in a more central number 10 role if needed.

Kemp has admitted that his game is focused upon taking players on and beating them with his dribbling skills, and the youngster has stated that he enjoys watching current West Ham star Manuel Lanzini.

Lanzini, who has impressed since joining the Hammers on loan from Al Jazira Club over the summer, is very much a skilful number 10. He possesses a fantastic on the ball ability, and has been a constant goalscoring and creative menace in the West Ham team.

If Kemp can get anywhere near to emulating Lanzini, West Ham have a real top class player on their hands.
