Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic played a starring role off the bench for Australia, as they eased to a 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Kyrgyzstan.
Rogic received a rapturous reception in front of his home city fans in the country's capital, Canberra.
The 22-year-old signed for Celtic back in 2013, but has struggled to make an impact due to injuries.
After not featuring under Ronny Deila last season, he has earned another chance in the first team, scoring four goals this season.
His form has seen him recalled to the Australian national team, and he made sure to impress in his big opportunity.
Rogic showed his clever footwork with a highlight-reel worth piece of skill, and has put himself in the conversation to start next week in the match away against Bangladesh.
His cameo display saw fans of the Socceroos even compare him to Manchester City's David Silva, and former Leeds United winger and Aussie international Harry Kewell.
Here is a look at the reaction to his performance...
Tommy Rogic has that superstar look about him. Fingers crossed. #AUSvKYR— Andrew Prentice (@apaway501) November 12, 2015

We've been robbed of seeing Rogic in the national team for too long now. Hope he stays injury free for many years to come. #Socceroos— Paul Tobin (@ptobz29) November 12, 2015
