Former Premier League midfielder Paul Merson was trending on Twitter earlier today after his predictions caused controversy.
Merson was making his picks for the final finishing positions for the 2015/16 season, in a column for SkySports.
His big call was that he believes Manchester United will finish outside the top four - and will be pipped by Chelsea.
United are currently in fourth place with 24 points, more than double the 11 points reigning champions Chelsea have, currently down in 16th position in the Premier League.
The Blues are in the midst of a woeful run of form, but Merson believes they will turn it around, at United's expense.
He said: "United never looked like scoring against West Brom until Jesse Lingard got them out of trouble with a stunner. You've got to go out to win football matches and they go out not to lose them.
"Chelsea have a lot of points to make up but I can see them going on a run while United are capable of drawing too many games. There's still a long time for Chelsea to make up that gap and, while it's a hard, hard one to call, I fancy Chelsea to just edge it."
Merson believes Manchester City will win the title ahead of his former club Arsenal, and feels Tottenham Hotspur will end up in third place, with United and Liverpool both pipped by Chelsea.
United fans were not impressed with his comments, here is a look at the reaction via Twitter...
