Jose Semedo has tweeted that now is a great time to be playing for Sheffield Wednesday, after their impressive start to the season.
The Portuguese midfielder has confirmed that he is feeling fit and ready for action, as he waits for some of his Owls teammates to return from the international break.
Wednesday have climbed into the top-half of the Championship table, and Semedo is clearly excited about his side’s progress under Carlos Carvalhal.
Feeling good and ready to take on any challenge. Great times for #swfc— José Semedo (@JVSemedo) November 12, 2015
Semedo has been at Hillsborough since 2011, but this is arguably the best Wednesday squad that he has been a part of.
Carvalhal has assembled a team which is packed with quality, and he has helped the Owls to climb into promotion contention.
Semedo’s first-team chances have actually been negatively impacted on due to this increased competition in the Owls’ squad, but he appears to still be enjoying his time at the club.
The 30-year-old has played nine times for Wednesday this season, and he has one goal to his name in those appearances.
