The summer signing has made a very good start to life at Hillsborough, but he feels that he still has more to offer the team, despite scoring five goals in his first 11 matches.
Forestieri also wants his Wednesday teammates to learn from their latest outing, which they lost 3-1 against Charlton Athletic.
“It is good for me personally that I have got five goals but I need to improve my play,” he said. “I need to improve with the team.
“We need to learn from the Charlton loss, improve a lot of things and make sure we focus 100 per cent on every single game.
“If we play together, we can do something very important. If we play as individuals, we can’t do anything.”
Despite Forestieri’s rather humble opinion of his own displays, Wednesday supporters have still been very impressed by the diminutive attacking midfielder.
The former Waford man has made an immediate impression, and he has undoubtedly increased the Owls’ attacking threat.
Wednesday struggled for goals last season, but there have been no such problems this time around, with the Yorkshire outfit looking a big threat.
Wednesday have only lost one of their last 12 matches in all competitions, and they are currently stationed just four points behind the play-off places in the Championship.
