Arsenal have had a great start to the current Premier League season and with another international break upon us they find themselves second in the table, behind current leaders Manchester City only on goal-difference.

There is a considerable amount of football still to be played but Gunners manager Arsene Wenger can be pleased with his team’s effort thus far.

With some vital games ahead of them, we consider Arsenal’s strongest available starting XI while some of their key stars are side-lined through injury.

Arsenal are currently without Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott and while they also have doubts regarding Hector Bellerin, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, we are going to assume that trio will all be fit by the time the next Premier League match kicks off on 21 November.
