Vardy has netted 12 goals in the Premier League to date, making him the top-scorer in England’s top-flight, and he also won the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for October.
Interest in Vardy’s services has naturally picked up as a result of his good form, and his old manager, Pearson, believes that he could perform for one of England’s biggest clubs.
Congrats to Jamie Vardy. He should've won last month as well. NIgel Pearson believes he could provide Utd or Ars with something different.— Richard Keys (@richardajkeys) November 11, 2015
Vardy is currently on a nine-game scoring streak, and his performances have been a key reason behind Leicester’s wonderful start to the campaign.
The Foxes have looked highly dangerous so far, and their attacking class has lifted them into third place in the Premier League table.
Their form has shown no signs of relenting, but they will be relying on Vardy to continue his goalscoring form if they are to stay amongst the Champions League chasing sides.
Arsenal and Manchester United, meanwhile, are also lodged inside the top four, but there is a feeling that they need a new striker – and it remains to be seen whether they will act on Pearson’s advice in the January transfer window.
