Crystal Palace Yannick Bolasie has made an impressive start to the season, further enhancing his reputation.
Yannick Bolasie has told the Daily Star that it feels ‘crazy’ to be performing so well for Crystal Palace.
Bolasie spent much of his early career in the lower leagues, but a move to Selhurst Park has seen him rise to prominence.
The tricky winger is now considered to be one of the most dangerous attacking threats in the Premier League, with Alan Pardew lumping huge price-tags on him in an effort to fend off interest from afar.
And Bolasie said: “You’ve almost got to laugh about it.
“It’s crazy to think where I’ve come from and where I’ve been playing to have a manager of Alan Pardew’s quality say I’m worth £20million, £40m or £60m. It makes me feel proud.
“I know all eyes are on me so I have to make sure I am on my game all the time.”
Bolasie’s stock has risen due to his consistent excellence in a Palace shirt, where he has become one of the Eagles’ main men.
The former Plymouth Argyle and Bristol City forward has been given freedom to express himself on the pitch, and he is thriving in the role.
Bolasie appears full of confidence, and he is a threat whenever he is in possession, due to his unique dribbling style.
Palace have benefitted from Bolasie’s fine form already this season, with the winger netting a goal in their latest 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield, to further enhance his reputation.
