According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Burnley striker Andre Gray, as they look to bolster their forward line.
The Lilywhites reportedly feel that the addition of a striker could be crucial, and they are tracking Gray’s progress after his start with Burnley.
Although a January move is off the cards – due to the Clarets’ desire to keep the former Brentford hitman – Spurs are keeping the 24-year-old on their radar.
Gray has made a rapid rise up the leagues since signing for Brentford from Luton Town in 2014, and he now looks one of the Championship’s most dangerous strikers.
Gray has scored 10 times in 13 appearances in the second-tier this term, and his pace and power has proven to be a huge threat.
Tottenham are admirers of his talents, and they could reportedly look to bring him in at the end of the season, if they still haven’t added some cover for Harry Kane by then.
Spurs have already have success by looking to the Football League to sign players, with Dele Alli proving to be a sensation after joining from Milton Keynes Dons during the summer transfer window.
