Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony was not impressed with Liverpool’s performance against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s defeat to Crystal Palace at home on Sunday evening.

Liverpool suffered their first defeat under new manager Jurgen Klopp, as Palace returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 triumph over the Reds at Anfield.

Yannick Bolasie put the Eagles in the lead in the 21st minute, and Brazil international attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho restored parity for Liverpool on 42 minutes.

Alan Pardew’s visiting team scored the winner eight minutes from time through Scott Dann, who reacted quickest after Simon Mignolet parried his header.

Peterborough chairman MacAnthony, who is a Liverpool fan, was not impressed with the performance of Klopp’s team.

Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from 12 matches, as many as seven points behind fourth-place Manchester United.

The Merseyside outfit will take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League after the two-week international break.
