Leeds United beat Huddersfield Town 3-0 in their latest Championship fixture.
Stuart Dallas has admitted on Twitter that Leeds United were short of their best in their 3-0 victory against Huddersfield Town at the weekend.
Leeds won the fixture against their Yorkshire rivals in comfortable fashion, but Dallas felt that there was still more to come from his side.
The winger admitted that Leeds could have played better in the fixture, but he was pleased with the spirit that they showed.
Leeds won the tie thanks to their ruthlessness in-front of goal, with Steve Evans’ side taking most the chances that came their way.
The Whites scored twice in first-half stoppage-time through Mirco Antenucci and Chris Wood, and they never looked like losing after that point.
In the end Alex Mowatt’s belter put a gloss on the scoreline, and Leeds claimed the victory, which pushed them up to 15th in the Championship standings.
Dallas was not the only Leeds player to react on Twitter after the match, with Giuseppe Bellusci and Alex Mowatt also posting their delight at the win.
