Photos: Steven Gerrard watches Liverpool at Anfield, Palace boss argues with Klopp

Crystal Palace beat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. There was one memorable image in particular...

Crystal Palace are certainly a bogey team for Liverpool. Their visit to Anfield brought more disappointment for the Reds on Sunday afternoon, as Yannick Bolasie an Scott Dann netted to give Alan Pardew's men a 2-1 win.

This wasn't quite the 3-1 thrashings Palace dealt out to the Merseyside outfit last season, while it was the first league meeting in three between the two teams that didn't see the south London side net three times.

But Liverpool's defending will have bitterly disappointed boss Jurgen Klopp. Especially when the Reds looked very good indeed when going forward to score.

Philippe Coutinho rounded off a superb team move to equalise for the hosts but goals either side of it ensured the Eagles went home with all three points.

Steven Gerrard watched on from the stands - Palace also beat Liverpool during his last ever game at Anfield.

But an even more intriguing image is the one below...

What a picture.

There, Pardew's arrogance is arguably coming off, with the side of him Newcastle, West Ham and Charlton fans constantly go on about on show.

But will Crystal Palace fans care? Not a chance. They've beaten Liverpool once again, taking themselves up to eighth in the Premier League heading into the international break.
