Crystal Palace beat Liverpool 2-1 in Premier League action.
Peter Ramage has hailed the performances of Crystal Palace duo Scott Dann and Damien Delaney on Twitter, after they helped the London side pick up a valuable win over Liverpool.
Palace travelled to Anfield having failed to win in any of their last four matches, but they were superb against Liverpool.
The Eagles were a constant threat to Jurgen Klopp’s side, and the ultimately ended up securing a huge three points, with Ramage paying tribute to the squad.
Palace took the lead in the match when Yannick Bolasie capitalised on an Emre Can error in the first-half.
Alan Pardew’s men were then pegged back when Philippe Coutinho scored in the 41st minute, but they continued unperturbed and were rewarded for their persistence when Dann popped up with a late winner.
The result caused the first loss that Liverpool have experienced under new manager Klopp, and also provided Palace with plenty of reason to be optimistic.
Palace have moved up to 10tth place in the Premier League table, and they are now just one point behind Liverpool, who are in ninth spot.
