Liverpool lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon as Eagles manager Alan Pardew continued his hoodoo against the Reds.
Palace overcame Liverpool last season and this time round they owed their victory to a late Scott Dann winner.
Yannick Bolasie had put Palace ahead in the 21st minute but Philippe Coutinho equalised for Liverpool three minutes before half-time.
That was how things stayed until Dann netted with just eight minutes of normal-time remaining and Palace ultimately held on for the victory.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was forced to bring on centre-back Dejan Lovren after Mamadou Sakho suffered an injury and the Croatian international was unable to stop his side from conceding what proved to be the vital goal.
Lovren has come in for plenty of criticism from Liverpool fans since he signed from Southampton but this season he has been out of the side due to injury in recent weeks.
He returned for the final minute against Chelsea last weekend before playing the whole match in the Europa League against Rubin Kazan five days later.
After the match against Palace we took to Twitter to see what Liverpool fans thought of Lovren’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
