Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Arsenal’s draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Sunday evening.
Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw with Spurs at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.
Tottenham took the lead just past the half-hour mark when England international striker Harry Kane found the target.
The Gunners rescued a point from the encounter on 77 minutes when substitute Kieran Gibbs converted a deep cross from Germany international attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher believes that Arsenal did well to draw the match and has backed them to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Wenger is right there it was a good 1-1 for Arsenal considering how well Spurs played.— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) November 8, 2015
Is today a sign Arsenal are or not good enough for the title? On the back of Munich, injuries & playing poorly surely it's a good sign!— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) November 8, 2015
Arsenal are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 12 matches.
Arsene Wenger’s side are level on points with Manchester City, who are top due to a superior goal difference.
