Everton drew 1-1 away at West Ham United on Saturday.
Everton and West Ham United played out a 1-1 draw at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon, in a closely-fought encounter between the two sides.
West Ham took the lead when Manuel Lanzini bent a superb shot in to the top corner of the net, but Romelu Lukaku continues to haunt West Ham, having latched on to Gerard Deulofeu's pass, rounded Adrian and tapped into the net, making it seven goals in seven games against the Hammers.
Both sides pushed for a winner but neither could take the lead, meaning the spoils were shared in East London, which was probably a fair result on reflection.
After the game, two Everton players took to Twitter in order to react to the result, and both were involved in the goal, with Deulofeu and Lukaku both passing on messages to supporters.
Lukaku praised the fighting spirit by his team-mates, having come from one goal down to rescue a point at Upton Park, though he chose not to bask in the glory of his own personal record against the Hammers.
Meanwhile, Spanish winger Deulofeu stated that the game was 'difficult' against Slaven Bilic's men, but praised the Toffees fans for their travelling support.
