Don't worry, we're all as confused as you are, Clive.
Over the years, our ears have been subject to some really, really bad commentators who have boringly talked us through 90 minutes of football.
We've had Phil Neville's absolute howler at the World Cup during England's opening game against Italy and far worse.
But one man who made a name for his pretty dully commentary and saying 'Clive' at the start and end of pretty much every sentence... is Andy Townsend.
Now, while we kinda miss the Irishman's unintentionally hilarious commentary, we wouldn't quite go as far as ex-Sky Sports host and user of 'just banter' defence Richard Keys.
Keys is now over in Qatar making a living with BeIN Sport and it seems like Townsend has popped over their too to kickstart his career once more.
And we've seen some people tweet some odd stuff but nothing quite as odd as this from Keys:
A pleasure to listen to Andy Townsend. The best co-commentator since Andy Gray.— Richard Keys (@richardajkeys) November 8, 2015
Oh...kay then. C'mon Keys, we all know that Townsend is nothing with Clive Tyldesley! It won't sound the same without Townsend saying Clive all the time.
As you can imagine, the reaction to Keys' claim was hilarious! //
@richardajkeys ha ha ha he's absolutely awful your delusional— John Birdsey (@kopking12345a) November 8, 2015
For me Clive, Keys has had a nightmare there, Clive.
