Remi Garde takes charge of Aston Villa for the first time this afternoon, as Manchester City visit Villa Park.
Frenchman Garde, 49, was appointed Villa's new boss on Monday following the departure of Tim Sherwood, and watched on as Villa lost 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane just hours after his appointment.
Today, Garde faces a daunting debut against Manchester City, and has brought French players Jordan Amavi and Jordan Veretout back in to the starting line-up, whilst two more ex-Ligue 1 players also start in Jordan Ayew and Idrissa Gueye.
The likes of Joleon Lescott, Jack Grealish and Rudy Gestede are all on the bench today, with Garde picking his first ever Villa side today.
Meanwhile, Manuel Pellegrini's City sit top of the Premier League table, and will be looking for another victory to keep up their title aspirations.
City sit level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table, and whilst Sergio Aguero and David Silva remain out injured, Pellegrini still has a strong squad at his disposal this afternoon.
The likes of Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Yaya Toure, Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Bony all start today, whilst Fabian Delph is on the bench as he makes this return to Villa Park.
City will certainly be favourites to claim the win today, but with a Villa Park crowd behind new manager Garde, this could be a banana skin for City today.
