Steve Watson reacts on Twitter to Newcastle win, highlights a weakness

Newcastle United defeated Bournemouth 1-0 away from home in the Premier League this afternoon.

Steve Watson has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s narrow victory over Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Magpies returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win at the Vitality Stadium, thanks to Ayoze Perez’s goal in the 27th minute.

Former Newcastle star Watson was following the match, and he was not impressed with Steve McClaren’s side performance.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, Bournemouth were the better team and would have picked up all three points had a certain Rob Elliot not been in great form in goal for Newcastle.

The Magpies had just 32% of the possession, which suggests that they do need to be better on the ball.

However, the main point is that Newcastle have collected the three points, which will go a long way in ensuring that they do not get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
