Pinillos started the East Midlands derby at the City Ground and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won the Championship game 1-0.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground, hosts Forest had just 34% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners.
Left-back Pinillos, who joined the Reds in the summer transfer window after leaving Spanish club Cordoba at the end of the 2014-15 season, was once again very good.
The 23-year-old Spaniard had a pass accuracy of 58%, put in two crosses, won 50% of his tackles and 67% of the headers, and made six interceptions, two clearances and two blocks.
Forest fans have been raving about Pinillos on Twitter for his performance against Derby.
