Micky Quinn said on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on talkSPORT on Friday morning that he expects Newcastle United to win against Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
"This should be a three points for Newcastle because Bournemouth are struggling to win a game, they are conceding goals as well," said former Newcastle forward Quinn.
Former Derby County and Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage, though, expects Bournemouth to pick up all three points from the match.
"Don’t expect goals," the former Wales international said on William Hill Betting. "There will be a winner, and I am gonna go: 11,000 people, tight ground, I am gonna go with Bournemouth."
Newcastle will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies will head into the game at the Vitality Stadium on the back of a goalless draw with Stoke City at St. James’ Park.
Steve McClaren’s side are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just seven points from 11 matches.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth currently find themselves in 17th place in the standings, just a point above Newcastle.
Eddie Howe’s side are without a win in their last five matches. They have conceded 15 goals during that run.
Newcastle are without a win in their last 12 away league games, scoring just three goals in that run.
