Wilson returned to Rangers for a second spell in the summer transfer window after leaving Heart of Midlothian at the end of the 2014-15 season.
The 23-year-old centre-back struggled with injuries last month and then missed out on a place in the squad for the Championship game against St. Mirren away from home on October 25.
The former Liverpool defender did feature against Hibernian away from home at Easter Road last weekend, but he was taken off just before the hour mark.
Rangers manager Warburton has praised the attitude of Wilson and has told The Glasgow Evening Times: “Danny has been an outstanding pro.
“His season last year with Hearts and the way he has performed this year has been different class. He is only 23 years of age but shows a maturity beyond his years.”
Returning to winning ways
Rangers will look to return to winning ways in the Scottish Championship today when they take on Alloa Athletic at home.
The Gers will head into the game at Ibrox in Glasgow on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Hibernian.
The loss to Hibs was Rangers’ first of the season in the league, and it will be interesting to see how they bounce back.
