Emmanuel Frimpong wishes Chelsea star Willian played for Arsenal.

Emmanuel Frimpong has stated on social networking site Twitter that he wishes Chelsea attacker Willian played for Arsenal.

The former Arsenal prospect, now at Russian Premier League club FC Ufa, made the comment during Saturday evening’s Premier League game between Stoke City and Chelsea at the Britannia Stadium.

Brazil international Willian, who can feature as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Frimpong was impressed with the performance of the 27-year-old in the match, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Chelsea, and made the following comment on Twitter:

Willian, who has been on the books of Chelsea since 2013, has been the Blues’ best player so far this season.

The former Anzhi Makhachkala man has scored nine goals and created 38 chances in 25 Premier League appearances so far this campaign.

The Brazilian has a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 52%, and has won five headers, 24 dribbles and 32 tackles.
