I guess he did wind him up, but Stoke still took the three points!
So far this season, the Spain international has managed to score two goals in the Premier League, and hasn't netted in his last three games for the Blues.
While he might not be as clinical as he was last season, he's definitely still as grumpy and making defenders all sorts of angry.
And during Chelsea's defeat to Mark Hughes's Stoke City, Costa managed to get under the skin of Potters defender and captain, Ryan Shawcross.
While Shawcross had the upper hand in the terms of the football, Costa seemed to wind the centre-back up by doing this...
Diego Costa tells Shawcross he stinks. Presumably of Greggs and B.O https://t.co/KJjGbWzW0o— Top Corner (@HITCtopcorner) November 7, 2015
Yep! Costa reckons that the Stoke City man is just all sorts of smelly and was putting him off during their many battles during the 90 minutes.
Thing is, we're not sure how many footballers smell so fresh after running a few miles and rolling around for almost two hours!
