The Scot knows what it is like to play in a heated East Midlands derby.
The Rams are flying after finally clicking under their new manager Paul Clement. Forest boss Dougie Freedman however is on the ropes.
The former Forest striker has not tasted victory since the September win v QPR at Loftus Road.
Freedman however knows the importance of this game. He has played in an East Midlands derby, in fact he scored in his first ever. Freedman had joined then Premier League Forest in August 2008 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and scored n his first ever derby match the following November.
Of which BBC Nottingham Sport have kindly reminded everyone with this video:
Forest drew that Premiership game 2-2. Tony Dorigo scoring from the spot for the Rams before Freedman and Pierre van Hooijdonk gave Forest the lead. Horacio Carbonari scored the equaliser for Derby in what was an enthralling fixture.
neutrals will hope for a similar fixture. Freedman however will be hoping for a win.
