Everton striker Romelu Lukaku was impressed with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele’s goal against Anderlecht in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele’s stunning goal against Anderlecht on Thursday evening impressed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

Dembele found the target for Spurs in the 87th minute of the Europa League Group J encounter at White Hart Lane. The Belgium international fired home from 18 yards, as Spurs won 2-1.

Lukaku, who is rated at £45 million by Everton according to a recent report in The Daily Mail, was impressed with Dembele’s stunning strike.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was also impressed with Dembele’s superb finish, while his teammates Kevin Wimmer, Eric Dier and Josh Onomah were delighted with the three points.

Tottenham are now at the top of Group J with seven points from four matches, a point ahead of second-place AS Monaco.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will return to action on Sunday, when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby.

Arsenal are second in the Premier League table at the moment, while Tottenham are five points behind them in fifth.
