Report: Everton slap huge price tag on Romelu Lukaku to ward off interest

The Belgian is reportedly attracting interest from PSG and Juventus.

Everton have placed a price tag of £45m on Romelu Lukaku to ward off interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian has become the star man at Goodison Park since joining from Chelsea in 2014, and is currently enjoying a fine run of form.

He swapped agents several months ago, deciding to axe the man that secured his permanent move to the Blues before the start of last season, replacing him with so called 'super agent' Mino Raiola.

Since then, Raiola has been very vocal about his client's future, linking him with potential moves to a number of Europe’s top sides despite him currently being tied down to a long term deal at the Premier League side - as covered by the Guardian.

His good form has attracted interest as well, with the Daily Mail reporting that both PSG and Juventus are keeping tabs on the Belgian.

The good news for Everton fans, however, is that Lukaku is happy to be with Roberto Martinez’s side at present, although he may look to review his future at the end of the season.

That comes because he is keen to play Champions League football, something that does not look on the cards for Everton this season, meaning he may fancy a move if one of Europe’s big sides come knocking.
