The Hammers will host Everton at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and Owen has backed the Merseyside outfit to pick up all three points.
“This should be a cracker and I expect to see goals,” the former England international wrote on Betvictor.com.
“Everton have a good recent record at the Boleyn Ground winning six of their last seven in the PL and they might just shade it although the Irons look likely to be boosted by the return of the outstanding Winston Reid to the centre of their defence.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Everton to win and both teams to score at 19/5.”
Hosts West Ham are having a wonderful season and could challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Hammers are sixth in the league table at the moment with 20 points from 11 matches, just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
Slaven Bilic’s side lost last weekend, though, going down 2-0 to Watford away from home at Vicarage Road.
Everton will head into Saturday’s match on the back of a 6-2 victory over Sunderland at Goodison Park in the league.
Roberto Martinez’s side are currently ninth in the standings with 16 points from 11 matches.
