Ian Wright agrees with Trevor Sinclair about Andros Townsend

Ian Wright seems to suggest that Queens Park Rangers should sign Andros Townsend from Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Queens Park Rangers should sign Andros Townsend from Tottenham Hotspur.

England international winger Townsend was left out of Tottenham’s Europa League Group J game against Anderlecht at White Hart Lane on Thursday evening after clashing with fitness coach Nathan Gardiner on Monday.

Former QPR winger Sinclair has suggested on Twitter that Rangers should try to sign the 24-year-old, and Arsenal great Wright appears to agree with him.

Townsend played on loan for QPR from Tottenham during the second half of the 2012-13 season.

The Englishman did well at Loftus Road during his loan spell, and given his struggles to play regularly for Spurs under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, he should be looking for a new club.

Townsend has been able to make just three appearances in the Premier League and three in the Europa League so far this season.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the England international played seven times in the Europa League and 17 times in the Premier League.
