Clinton Morrison reacts on Twitter to Tottenham win, Lord Sugar comments on Andros Townsend

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Anderlecht on Thursday and will face Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday.

Former Crystal Palace forward Clinton Morrison has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Anderlecht on Thursday evening.

Tottenham made it three wins in a row in all competitions with a 2-1 home victory over Anderlecht in the Europa League Group J.

England international striker Harry Kane put Spurs in the lead at White Hart Lane just before the half-hour mark.

Although Imoh Ezekiel restored parity for Anderlecht in the 72nd minute, substitute Mousa Dembele fired in from 18 yards against the run of play on 87 minutes to wrap up all three points for the home team.

Morrison was impressed with the performance of Tottenham, and has suggested that Sunday’s North London derby against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium will be a good match.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar has given his take on Andros Townsend’s situation.

The England international winger was dropped for Thursday’s match by Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino after clashing with fitness coach Nathan Gardiner.

Tottenham are at the top of Europa League Group J at the moment with seven points from four matches, just a point clear of second-place AS Monaco.
