The midfielder is pleased with the partnership he is forming with Graziano Pelle and Sadio Mane.
The recent 2-0 win over Bournemouth moved the side up to seventh in the Premier League table and just four points outside of the Champions League places.
That result took them to five unbeaten in the Premier League, with the Saints now starting to replicate the kind of form they showed at the beginning of last season.
And Tadic believes they are now back on track after enduring a somewhat difficult start to their league campaign.
"I think until now everything has gone okay for me and my team," he told saintsfc.co.uk.
"It’s too early to speak about some things, but it was really difficult at the beginning because everyone expected we would show the same as last year. You need a little bit of time for that and I think now everything is going well."
After an impressive first season with Southampton last term, Tadic has continued to be a key player this year, with the 26-year-old providing the assist for Pelle’s goal in the 2-0 win over the Cherries.
In fact, he has formed a strong partnership with the Italian and fellow forward Sadio Mane, with the trio very much the star men in Ronald Koeman’s side.
And Tadic says he is happy with the alliance he has formed with his team-mates but insists the Southampton team are dangerous as a whole.
"We are dangerous but also the whole team can be really dangerous when we play how we know we can," he added.
"We are starting to know exactly what your teammate is going to do, we just need to be more consistent and play like that for the whole game. Then I think we will win a lot of Premier League games."
