Crystal Palace midfielder Jake Gray is poised to join League Two club Hartlepool on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources to the club.
Palace signed Gray as a 15-year-old from Wycombe Wanderers and he has worked his way up the ranks to the fringes of the first-team with a number of eye-catching displays in the youth side.
The midfield dynamo is highly-regarded at Palace and made his debut last season with two substitute appearances in the Capital One Cup against Walsall and Newcastle.
Palace handed Gray a new two-year deal in the summer and he is seen as a future star at Selhurst Park.
Gray has impressed in Palace's Under-21s this season and Eagles boss Alan Pardew is ready to send him out on loan so that he can gain some valuable first-team experience.
The 19-year-old also enjoyed a month out on loan last season at Cheltenham, making four appearances for the club in League Two.
A number of Football League clubs have shown an interest in Gray, but Ronnie Moore's Hartlepool are set to win the race for the youngster's signature.
