Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to David Gold's Antonio gaffe

The West Ham co-chairman messed up on social media once again and plenty of Forest fans took delight in his gaffe.

Nottingham Forest fans had plenty to say on Twitter after West Ham United co-chairman David Gold committed another social media gaffe on Thursday morning.

Gold retweeted a picture of West Ham summer signing Michail Antonio asking for help to find the 'missing person' before undoing the RT, according to BBC Sport and many others.

And it's not the first time the Hammers chief has messed up in such fashion on Twitter. Indeed, when welcoming Pedro Obiang over the summer, he tweeted a picture of Angelo Ogbonna, who the east London club later signed anyway.

For Nottingham Forest fans, there was plenty of laughter at Gold's latest gaffe. And yet Forest supporters will also be understandably frustrated.

Despite leaving the Championship side on Deadline Day, the 25-year-old is still Nottingham Forest's top scorer. He was a key player - now his own co-chairman can't even recognise a picture of him.

More social media embarrassment for Gold, then, this time brings some form of humiliation to one of West Ham's players. Here's how Nottingham Forest supporters reacted on Twitter to Gold's Antonio mess-up:
