The midfielder insists they won't be getting carried away despite their strong start to the season.
He was on form again last weekend as he scored against West Bromwich Albion in a 3-2 win, bagging his side’s third goal, meaning he has scored in eight consecutive games for the side.
He shares that record with just two other people, and Albrighton says he and the rest of the squad are delighted with the way Vardy has been playing.
“He’s (Jamie Vardy) flying,” he told lcfc.com.
“He’s on absolute fire at the minute. There’s no stopping him. He’s in the form of his life and if he keeps banging them in for us then we’re delighted.”
It has been a fantastic start to the season for Claudio Ranieri’s side so far, with the defeat of the Baggies taking them to third in the table after 11 games.
They take on newly promoted Watford this weekend with the prospect of a win seeing them go level on points with table toppers Manchester City.
That is a stark turnaround for a side that was fortunate to avoid relegation last season, and Albrighton insists they won’t get carried away just yet because of that.
“We can’t get carried away,” he added.
“I know someone said that it took us until April to get to this points tally last season, so we’re doing something right and long may it continue.”
