Jamie Paterson reacts on Twitter to Huddersfield managerial change

Huddersfield Town

Jamie Paterson joined Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan deal from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

Nottingham Forest-owned attacker Jamie Paterson has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank sacked Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell.

Powell was dismissed as the Huddersfield boss on Wednesday, with the Championship side appointing former Borussia Dortmund coach David Wagner in his place.

Paterson, who joined the Terriers on a season-long loan deal from Championship rivals Forest, has thanked Powell for his help during the past few months.

The 23-year-old, who can play either as a winger or as a forward, has also welcomed new boss Wagner to the club.

Huddersfield are struggling at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated from the Championship at the end of the season.

The West Yorkshire outfit are currently 18th in the league table with 15 points from as many matches, just five points above the relegation zone.

Huddersfield will take on Leeds United at home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
