James McClean reacts on Twitter to Celtic defeat, John Hartson makes a prediction

West Bromwich Albion winger James McClean was not impressed with Celtic’s performance against Molde in the Europa League this evening.

West Bromwich Albion winger James McClean has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s defeat to Molde at Celtic Park this evening.

Scottish Premiership giants Celtic suffered a 2-1 defeat to Molde in the Europa League Group A.

Mohamed Elyounoussi took advantage of poor defending from the Bhoys in the 21st minute to open the scoring for the visiting team.

Kris Commons diverted Nir Bitton's strike into the net to level the match just five minutes later, but Daniel Berg Hestad hooked the ball home on 37 minutes to secure victory for Molde.

Nir Bitton was sent off for a professional foul in the second half, as Celtic ended the match with 10 men.

West Brom winger McClean was following the encounter, and the Republic of Ireland international was far from impressed with the performance of the Celtic fans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park, the Hoops had 52% of the possession, took 16 shots of which eight were on target, and earned six corners.

Visiting Molde had 48% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned seven corners.

Meanwhile, former Celtic striker John Hartson has stated on Twitter that Ronny Deila’s side need a miracle to progress to the knockout stage of the Europa League.

Celtic are now at the foot of Group A with just two points from four matches, three points behind second-place Fenerbahce.
