Dusan Tadic has told Southampton’s official website that he believes he is in the best form of his career.
The Serbian attacking midfielder has put in some scintillating displays over recent weeks, as Southampton have climbed the Premier League table at a rapid rate.
And Tadic says that he is feeling confident at the moment as he is in peak condition.
“I feel really good now and this is really nice for me,” he said. “I feel more comfortable and it’s good for the team and for me.
“I think it’s one of the best [periods of form in my career], but this is normal if you trust in your qualities and if your fitness is good.”
Tadic has become a fans’ favourite at St. Mary’s since arriving at the club back in 2014, and his displays this season have only enhanced his reputation.
The 26-year-old is tasked with being the Saints’ most creative outlet, and he has also chipped in with goals this term – scoring four times in 14 matches.
His good form has helped Southampton to make an impressive start to their Premier League season, with the south coast side currently occupying seventh spot in the standings.
Southampton’s next match comes against a struggling Sunderland team, and they will be hoping to take their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions by taking a positive result from that fixture.
