Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that he was impressed with Bayern Munich duo Douglas Costa and Thiago’s performances against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
Costa and Thiago played crucial roles in helping Bayern defeat Arsenal 5-1 at home in the Champions League Group F.
During the 90 minutes at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Brazil international winger Costa took four shots, had a pass accuracy of 88%, created two chances, put in four crosses and attempted six dribbles.
Spain international midfielder Thiago took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 90%, created three chances, put in two crosses, attempted one dribble, and made five interceptions, one clearance and three blocks.
Austin was following the match, and the QPR striker was impressed with the performances of the Bayern duo.

Austin has scored seven goals and created 13 chances in 10 Championship appearances for QPR so far this season.
