Trevor Sinclair and Francis Lee react on Twitter to Manchester City win

Manchester City defeated Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester City’s victory over Sevilla away from home in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

City got the better of Sevilla 3-1 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville in the Group D encounter to book their place in the last 16 of Europe’s premier club competition.

Raheem Sterling and Fernandinho put the Citizens 2-0 up after just 11 minutes. Although Benoit Tremoulinas halved the deficit for the home team on 25 minutes, Wilfried Bony’s goal in the 36th minute wrapped up the three points for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Former City winger Sinclair was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance and delighted with the result.

Ex-City forward Francis Lee was also overjoyed with the win for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and posted his thoughts on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes in Sevilla, visiting City had 44% of the possession, took 22 shots of which 11 were on target, and earned two corners.
