Rowan Vine posts simple message about Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Derby County on Tuesday night.

Former Queens Park Rangers striker Rowan Vine echoed many supporters’ sentiments on Twitter yesterday evening, when he simply posted that “we want our Rangers back”.

Vine played for QPR between 2008 and 2012, and he still has a connection with the London club.

And the 33-year-old was very disappointed with QPR’s 1-0 defeat against Derby County on Tuesday night, which has sent them down to 13th place in the Championship table.

QPR’s narrow loss to Derby at the iPro Stadium was not a terrible result in isolation, due to the Rams’ quality, but after their consistent run of poor form it just adds to the sense of dissatisfaction around Loftus Road.

The R’s have won just two of their last 10 matches, and that simply isn’t good enough for a side with their ambition.

QPR have a number of proven Premier League players in their squad, and they are playing well below expectations.

The R’s are already six points adrift of the play-off places, and only a significant turnaround in their fortunes will see them start to climb up the table and back into the promotion mix.
