Predicted Aston Villa and Manchester City line-ups

Here is how we predict Aston Villa and Manchester City will line up this weekend:

To be played on Sunday 8th November 2015 at 13:30. Venue: Villa Park, Birmingham

Odds: Aston Villa 7/1, Draw 7/2, Man City 2/5

Aston Villa welcome Manchester City to Villa Park this weekend in a match that is huge for both sides.

Villa have a new manager at the helm in the form of Remi Garde and after he watched them lose 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the week he will have seen plenty to work on but a few reasons to be optimistic about the challenge ahead.

A match against the current Premier League leaders City is probably not the game Garde would have chosen if he had his pick of opponents, but then the pressure will be off, potentially allowing Villa to cause what would be one hell of an upset.

Villa are currently bottom of the table with just four points from their first 11 matches, while City are first, ahead of Arsenal on goal-difference.

In early team news, Villa have minor doubts regarding Micah Richards, Ashley Westwood and Gabby Agbonlahor but as things stand there are no confirmed absentees.

As for City, they are without Pablo Zabaleta and Samir Nasri while Sergio Aguero and David Silva are also major doubts at this time.
