Wolverhampton Wanderers lost 1-0 to Bristol City last night.
Wolves disappointingly crashed to a 1-0 defeat against the struggling Robins last night, and Jackett says most of his players fell short of their usual standards.
However, the 53-year-old was pleased with Iorfa’s display, as he felt that the full-back continuously stretched the Bristol City defence throughout the contest.
“They got their goal and we wanted to put two up front to affect them more but it didn’t change the pattern of the game.
“I could see Kodjia putting our boys at full stretch, Kieran Agard, Elliott Bennett - probably the only one we had in that regard was Iorfa with some runs from right back when he put some good crosses in.
“I felt we didn’t have our usual energy tonight.”
Wolves’ defeat to Bristol City has left further questions being asked of the squad, just after they have relieved some of the pressure on them.
Jackett’s men picked up an impressive victory over Birmingham City on Saturday, but their failure to build on that success has been hugely frustrating.
It has also been very costly for their chances this season, as Wolves are already playing catch-up with the promotion chasers in the division, and they sit seven points away from the play-off places.
Wolves’ next fixtures comes against an in-form Burnley side at the weekend, and another defeat could see the atmosphere around Molineux turn very sour.
