West Ham United co-chairman David Gold suggests that Diafra Sakho could be fit to face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Diafra Sakho could feature against Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Sakho is recovering from a thigh injury at the moment, and Gold hopes that the striker will be available for the Premier League game against the Toffees at the Boleyn Ground.

Sakho is one of the better players in the current West Ham squad, and it will certainly be a boost for the team if he is fit for the match against Everton.

The Senegal international striker has scored three goals and created six chances in 10 Premier League appearances so far this season.

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 11 matches, just a point behind fourth-place Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Everton find themselves ninth in the standings with 16 points from 11 matches and are also in the running for a top-six finish.
